I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting culinary greatness in Colombia. Fortunately I was wrong. Restaurants in Bogota are as varied as they are plentiful. They're also extremely well styled and heaving with young, cool, hip and trendies. So far eating out has been a pleasure. Highlights include:
- Burgers @ Apache / ClickClack
- Ajiaco @ Club Colombia
- Steak @ Andres Carne de Res
- Everything @ Ciengramos / ClickClack
- Ceviche @ Mercado
- Spaghetti Vongole @ Di Lucca
- Spicy Margaritas @ Rural (they do food too but I don't remember all that clearly what I ate...)
And for eating in, this is a traditional Colombian breakfast. Huevos, tomates and arepa (kind of like a bread alternative, made with maize)
