Culture Vultures

Another month, another festival in Cartagena.  This month Classical music.  Next month, books.  March, film... 

I was kindly invited by the inimitible Kristy Ellis of cartagenaconnections.com, seen here playing a paper violin (with Jorge) before charming us into a high-society afterparty, and the local rag's social pages. 

I particularly enjoyed the setting of the concert, in the city's industrial dock and the fact that so many of the orchestra were beneficiaries of the city arts foundation.  Inspiring.
